Well as a beginner yous start off somewhere small. Drawing on newspaper and using referencing could really aid you understand the globe of drawing. Tracing will be the best also to help you learn to draw. Looking at artist arts would help equally well and volition make you inspire towards that artist to keep on moving. Myself was a beginner at artist at the time and didn't know how, nosotros all kickoff from the bottom to the meridian. Practice makes perfect and if you keep practicing you would brand it to the top.

2. Picking a sonic oc.

Picking a sonic oc could be very hard on a newbie artist. You are probably thinking the species, the outfits, the colors, the personality, ect. Next picking a outfit for yous sonic oc is the about challenging for many people, especially me. Pick an outfit that you lot ware/like or choice a reference for the outfit. Making a wonderful outfit and detailed could make the your oc ameliorate. The colors are very important, you lot don't want yous oc to be also neon colors, it would just result in a actually bad oc (which yous don't want to practise at all). Brand at to the lowest degree a 3 colors to make information technology simple, using simple shapes could make the viewer know who your oc is and what it looks like. Don't employ and then many shapes information technology would effect in making it to hard on the viewer who is looking at the drawing and people might forget who they are. This is a very simple method. All you need is to find a skilful name that you think best fits your oc. Its OK to shares someone'south ocs name simply don't steal the ocs pattern and everything else. I recommend a unique name for your oc.

Looking at drawings or using References:

Many people use this method to assistance them out, which is OK when your doing an sonic character or making your own sonic oc(s). This would help you learn how to brand your own art or your very own sonic oc(s).   I sometimes myself use references for my oc(due south) to help me out. References are not that bad to use and helps yous a lot.

four. Personality/ backstory for your oc.

Making a backstory is recommended for your oc so the reader/viewer could know your oc a little more. Employ something uncomplicated on what it looks like, how quondam, the birthday, the weapon(s), power(s), ect. Doing a backstory is pretty hard, peculiarly newbies. Yous don't desire your backstory too tragic (like your oc parents died or you have lost all your family members). Yous don't want your backstory to be bland either, endeavor a little more details in the backstory and people would know the your oc even more.

v. Shading:

This makes your character look more than detailed and pops out a lot. You could do this on newspaper and in line art/ Digital art. I recommend using this method on whatsoever drawing so the viewer could meet the detailed fine art and would get inspired past your artwork.

vi. Examples non to do for fine art/ an oc:

1. Using bases is the worst for drawing

Especially if your trying to make a oc. It makes you feel really lazy on not trying your ain fine art way. Art fashion is key on cartoon and for the oc. It makes it very unique and at that place is aught like that out at that place.

2. Recolor. Do non use recolor at all. This will make the viewer not wanting to view it and you will become alot of detest. This makes yous experience super lazy and non even trying. I strongly do not recommend this method for fine art and for a Oc. Stay away

from this.

3. Stealing other people'southward artwork/oc:

This is non a good thought especially if it's someone'due south else's work or oc. Exercise not claim it as your own either considering you could get in existent big trouble either with artist or someone else. I recommend not doing this at all. Do your own art then yous would not make it trouble.

4. Making a terrible backstory.

This is another way the viewer/reader would not want to notice your oc and would hate information technology merely by the backstory. Y'all need it to be detailed and have good spelling and grammar.
